Implementing foam recycling is the best way to celebrate Earth Day

Last Saturday, April 17th, was the Earth Day. On this day, some areas of California held a variety of recycling activities including foam recycling. Tuolumne County Master Gardeners, cooperate with Cal Sierra Disposal/Waste Management, Tuolumne County Solid Waste, and Dart Manufacturing have provided two locales for residents and entrepreneurs to implement foam recycling in honor of this day. If you want to participate in this event, you can choose the site convenient for you.

One site set up by Dart Container Corporation is close to highway 12, which opens 24 hours a day. A bin available for drop off the waste foam was put on the property at 400 E Victor Rd Lodi, CA 95240. You'd better call this number to confirm before you go: (209) 333-8088.

The other site locates at 301 9th St, Modesto, CA 95351 launched by Foam Fabricators opens from Monday to Thursday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. They are also open Friday from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm. while the weekend is their off day. When you arrive at their facility, call the number (209) 523-7002, then the staff will come out to take away your waste foam.

This foam recycling activity is not only held on Earth Day, it will be held for a long time. Therefore, if you do not catch up with that day, there is still a chance. All the waste foam collected in this activity will be compressed into blocks by a foam densifier, and then used to make pellets for photo frames producing to complete the whole foam recycling cycle.

In addition to foam recycling, there is still a lot for you to do on earth day. For example, you can plant a tree, walk instead of driving, or clean up roadside garbage. But do remember, all the above things should not be done only on earth day. We need to do these things every day to make our home more beautiful!
